At Rutland Beard Florist of Ruxton we've been helping Brides choose their wedding flowers for almost 100 years..... our enthusiasm has not diminished for providing the perfect touch!
Rutland Beard Florist was established in 1923 by Mr. and Mrs. Rutland Beard of Govans. The Beards started their operation in what was then the country, Catonsville, Maryland, where they grew some of the flowers that they sold.
In 1988, Rutland Beard Florist expanded into Ruxton, where it is owned and operated by Rutland Beard's grandson Rut Paal. Rutland Beard Florist of Ruxton is known for its high quality and wide variety of premium and exotic flowers from around world and near our own doorstep. Locally grown flowers, native and exotic, are featured whenever possible, with the selection changing as the seasons progress. With our highly recognized and experienced floral artists, you are sure to be impressed.
Wedding consultations are handled by Alison Webb AIFD, a floral designer with 35 years of design experience. During your scheduled appointment we'll look at photographs (yours and ours), determine the looks that you're interested in, the color palette that you wish, and start putting together a plan that will suit your budget.
When Rutland Beard Florist of Ruxton provides your wedding flowers we bring them to you and do all the set-up that is necessary. We'll work with you, the caterer, the venue and the photographer to make sure the right arrangements are in the right place at the right time!
