We were immediately impressed with their website, which for us, was the deciding factor on which wedding officiant within the DMV area we were going to contact. Simply based on the website, the Maryland Wedding Officiant was the first on our list. Everything from the website, the initial consultation with Pastor Ken, working with Jo-Ann to create the perfect ceremony that fits our style, to Pastor Ken performing the actual ceremony was ALL done in spirit of excellence! The process from beginning to end was extremely easy. We were not able to rehearse with Pastor Ken, but on the day of the ceremony you would've thought we had multiple rehearsals. Our guest were so impressed with Pastor Ken, instead of asking about our wedding photos, they often express how they were so impressed with our wedding officiant. Pastor Ken Is a wonderful pastor, he was the only one that truly sympathized with the situation that my fiancé would be on deployment as I planned for our wedding and would not return until 3 days before the wedding(very stressful situation after going thru 3 Pastors). Pastor Ken and his wife are a wonderful team and was a joy to work with. I love that he left the ceremony open to us while giving us so many options. They were able to help us build a wedding that was easy but very special that illustrates us as a couple. My husband and I aren't very conventional and we knew we wanted a short, sweet yet simple ceremony; Pastor Ken was helpful and extremely flexible working with our wishes and made it breathtaking! He was very professional, caring and very easy to talk to with no judgment. By far this was one of the best decision we have made in choosing in planning this wedding. He made sure that he fulfilled all our wedding needs. Any problems or concerns, him and his wife responded quickly to resolve any questions that we had. He has a remarkable character and cares about the couples he works with. I would greatly recommend him to friends, family, co-workers and even Kim Kardashian  lol. It was a pleasure to work with him and I was very happy.

Very professional and easy to work with...Pastor Ken and his wife Jo-Ann were a pleasure to work with. We had the ceremony at his church, a small private ceremony with close friends and family. We were very pleased with the service and highly recommend Pastor Ken.

Pastor Ken and his wife are wonderful. They were able to help us create a wedding that was unique and special. The prematial sessions were a great asset to our relationship. They also give you instructions on what to do after the wedding. Pastor Ken is very busy. I didn't realize that he had to perform three weddings on my wedding day. Still he was able to make us feel like our wedding was priorty. He gave us a 110%. I would highly recommend his services to anyone who is looking for a caring, nonjudemental officiant!

Pastor Ken is an excellent officiant. He helped me and my husband during our counseling sessions to have a better understanding of how to have a wonderful marriage and how to love each other everyday. He was nothing but professional and very approachable about any topic and he made sure that he fulfilled all our wedding needs. Having Pastor Ken as our officiant was a great decision. Pastor Ken did a great job during our Ceremony and our pre-marital counseling sessions. He was funny yet professional which worked great with our personalities! His wife was also a pleasure to work with. He could not make our wedding rehersal so we scheduled a time where he met with my husband and our parents to go through the details of the ceremony. This made our actual rehersal the next day a breeze. Out of all my vendors he stood out the most as being the most pleasant and happy to be there. Thanks Pastor Ken!

My husband and I did not think twice about who we wanted to perform our wedding ceremony. Pastor Ken had provided us with premarital counseling and helped us regain trust and love within our relationship. He was objective and fair but was very honest which was what we needed. Pastor Ken was fantastic! Our guests were thoroughly impressed with our choice of officiants. Pastor Ken even stayed for a bit to play drums with out guitarist! If I had to do it again, I'd defiantly choose Pastor Ken.

I was super excited to have Pastor Ken be the officiant for our wedding. We chose Pastor Ken from a recommendation from our Planner Jessica at Elegant Events. We are so happy we went with Pastor Ken. He is funny, blunt, God fearing, and Bible Based. We had the pre-marital counseling classes. His wife Joann was also very kind, sweet, patient, and worked closely with us as well. Our ceremony was so awesome. Pastor Ken was referred to Julian and I by a friend of a friend. As such we weren't sure what to expect. Our first meeting with him was through Skype (he's tech savvy) and I can honestly say his amazing energy and passion for what he does won us over! We decided to do marriage counseling with him as well and that helped to solidify our commitment and strengthen the foundation of our marriage. In fact, during the sand ceremony, we asked Pastor Ken to pour the first sand to represent God as the foundation of our marriage. The ceremony itself was lively and full of love. The relationship we developed with Pastor Ken really helped the ceremony take on special meaning. Guests came up to us during the reception to comment on how great the ceremony was. One friend said that ours was "the most fun ceremony [he'd] ever been to!". It felt the same for us as well. I'm so happy with our choice and I know you will be too!

Pastor Ken is simply amazing! Him and his wife are a great team and a perfect addition to any wedding. From the moment we first emailed him we knew that he was going to be our wedding officiant. We found Pastor Ken on the internet- we were looking for someone who wasn't going to be concerned with how me and my husband met, or what our religious views were. We just wanted someone who would be as happy to marry us as we were as happy to be getting married. He got back to us very promptly, answered all of our questions, and even covered questions we hadn't even thought to ask. When we went to first meet with him we were still a bit confused on what we wanted in terms of a ceremony, but Pastor Ken had a whole package of options that we were able to look over and pick from (as well as change if we so liked). It put us immediately at ease (which isn't easy when you're planning a wedding!) The day of he was perfect! He was on time and ready to go and didn't falter even once. If you are having a super traditional wedding, or are an untraditional couple I would still highly recommend him to you! You just can't go wrong.

Pastor Ken is a spectacular Wedding Officiant! He and his partner/wife JoAnne Patterson were very personable yet professional and exceeded our expectations in every possible way. There are only good things to be said about our experience with Pastor Ken and his wife Jo-Ann. The wedding planning process can be a very stressful one and it was wonderful not having to worry about this one aspect. Pastor Ken did an awesome job as my weddding officiant. He was available for counseling sessions and additional support when we needed it. He was on time for all appointment and rehearsals. He has a wonderful personality and cares about the couples he works with. Pastor Ken and his wife are both professional and organized individuals. Shortly after my (then fiance) husband proposed we booked a reverend. Well, needless, to say, he didn't pan out. He was not readily available for anything and was not willing to work with our schedules to meet and plan our wedding. So, about 4 weeks before our wedding, we decided to look elsewhere. My husband found Pastor Ken online and from the first time we spoke to him, we felt extremely comfortable with him. We live in PA and Pastor Ken's (absolutely fabulous!!!) wife, Jo-Ann, found a half way meeting spot for us. Pastor Ken makes you feel like you've know him forever. He and Jo-Ann did more for us in 4 weeks than the previous rev. did in 8 months. They truly care about the couples they work with and show it in many ways!! He was always available to answer questions and ease concerns. He was on time and professional for everything. I would recommend him to anyone! We received compliments from every single family member about how great Pastor Ken was. We will always keep Pastor Ken and Jo-Ann close to our hearts for helping to make our wedding day very special!
