Rouge Catering was fantastic! We worked with Regina who really went above and beyond with every aspect of planning our wedding. She was one step ahead of us on every detail and was incredibly reliable and a joy to work with. The staff turned a fully functioning library into a beautiful dining space in less than an hour. All of our guests raved about the food. The staff was diligent and friendly. We couldn't have asked for more.

Normally I am a walking thesaurus, but I may honestly run out of superlatives for Rouge. The catering was very important to us - after selecting a venue, this was our #1 priority, so we put a lot of thought into our choice of caterer. We really could not have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. Two weeks later, and our guests are still raving about the incredible food. In addition, the amazing menu was complemented by truly stellar service - from start to finish, Rouge was incredibly responsive, professional, and downright fun to work with. Regina handled everything with such skill and efficiency that I could really relax knowing the details were in her capable hands. That's not something you get to say about a lot of vendors! And of course, hiring a caterer is not just about food. They also play a key role in organizing the decor, coordinating with other vendors, and keeping the reception running smoothly. Everything was handled seamlessly. We were also given a lot of flexibility to tweak the menu and add our own personal touches, which meant so much to two people who really care about food. Throughout the process, we felt not only listened to, but really understood. And for all of this, I believe the overall price was an amazing value. We initially considered more expensive caterers who I firmly believe would not have been nearly as good. In our relationship, so many of our favorite memories have been centered around an incredible meal. The fact that our wedding reception is now part of those delicious memories is such a wonderful gift. We are so thankful to Regina and everyone at Rouge for helping to make our wedding day unforgettable!

Rouge did a fantastic job catering our September 2011 wedding. From the very beginning of our interactions with the company, they were clearly head and shoulders above the rest. They were the first to get back to us after our initial set of inquiries, and their event managers really took the time to listen to our vision of the food. We worked closely with Martha to develop the menu, and had an awesome tasting. After having doubts about one of the appetizers we had initially selected they whipped up a new app on the spot that ended up being one of our guest's favorites. We worked with Regina closer to the event, and she ensured that everything went smoothly during our reception, even though about half our guests arrived late. Her flexibility and oversight ensured that the food was hot, the beer was cold, and everyone ate, drank and was merry! Every single appetizer got rave reviews from our guests, and they totally mauled them---especially the Maryland lump crab cakes. They were just amazing. We were super picky about wanting local and organic whenever possible without breaking the bank, and boy did they deliver! Pretty much every guest we spoke to throughout the night commented on how awesome the food was. Even our photographer complimented the food, and he goes to weddings almost every weekend of the summer! We also really appreciated their straightforward pricing with no surprise service fees or unexpected costs. It seemed like every other caterer we spoke to had lots of mechanisms to ding you for extra time or had mysterious service fees that made it difficult to figure out how much you might spend at the end of the day. We really loved working with Rouge and, as an earlier reviewer said so well, wish we could attend a Rouge wedding just to savor the amazing food.

ROUGE did an AMAZING job at our wedding! The food was so delicious - we had so many guests compliment us on the selections they provided. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. They went above and beyond our expectations and helped coordinate other little details we wouldn't have thought about. Ask for Regina and you won't be disappointed!!

Rouge Fine Catering truly made our day incredibly special! From the first interaction - they were so much more than the other vendors I considered. Martha created a menu that completely hit what we were looking for - then hosted us and the groom's parents for a lovely tasting that completely won us over. The food was phenomenal - ask for the meatloaf on a stick and watermelon/feta appetizer! Our guests raved! Throughout the planning process they were incredibly responsive and helped me with decor, decorating and everything to make my wedding just what I wanted. The week of my wedding - Martha was on top of everything (despite also being responsible for a catering event for 7500 2 days before) - there was not a single issue she didn't take care of. The day of the event - her staff was incredibly professional and wonderful to work with. As my groom said the next day "now we need Martha to invite us to another Rouge wedding so we can relax and enjoy the food". I would highly recommend them for any wedding - and only wish they had a restaurant so I could go back for their food.

I cannot praise Rouge catering enough for the wonderful job they did with our wedding! The food, sustainable, organic, and/or local when possible, was amazing... we are still getting compliments from guests. Regina and crew went beyond just providing the food to acting like a wedding planner... she helped design decor and make recommendations for vendors, as well as coordinating times with vendors so that I wouldn't have to worry about it. She even picked up and dropped off the linens I had ordered from another company, so that I wouldn't have to pay for the delivery fee or worry about it myself! As a bride said in another review... I'm not going to get married again, but I want to throw another party like it just for the food!

We just had our event with Rouge this weekend and these guys are just phenomenal. From the very first tasting i felt they were a pleasure to work with, they're easy going and friendly and SO flexible, exactly the kind of people we wanted to handle our wedding. Somehow they came in exactly at our budget range and still managed to provide a menu that was both exactly what we wanted, and something that we got rave reviews about the whole night. We very much appreciated their honestly and up front manner and the fact that we didn't feel nickel-and-dimed with every plate and fork and glass. They were always available for last minute calls, to give advice on not just the food, but cakes, decoration ideas, a hair stylist, and to hold our hands through the VERY intense process of planning a wedding. Trusting Wendy and Martha with our wedding i personally feel was one of the best decisions we made.

I would highly recommend Rouge Catering for weddings!! We were pretty picky about food...we wanted everything to be local and organic, and we didnt want the "standard wedding" menu. Wendy, Martha and Jonathan were so flexible and really worked with us to help us realize our vision for our wedding. But most importantly, the food was AMAZING!! We had so many guests comment on it, saying that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Another thing I really appreciated about the Rouge team was the fact that they didnt see their responsibility as ending with food/drink. Wendy and Martha helped me design the decor, pick out linens, decorations, flowers etc. They handled a lot of the little details for us, almost acting more like wedding planners, not just caterers. And they were so great the day of the wedding. They kept the timeline we made on track, made sure we ate, dealt with other vendors (tent rental, music, etc.), and just generally took care of all the little details so we could relax and enjoy the day. Rouge was fantastic, I would HIGHLY recommend them!!!

Our venue had a list of about 15 preferred caterers, but even having the work of finding a caterer reduced from infinite to 15 seemed daunting. We met with several companies on the list, but nothing felt like it clicked. Until we met Wendy, with Rouge, and it felt like we were silly to ever worry. Wendy was amazing to work with: she didn't laugh at or ignore our budget (like some others had), she was never unreachable, and she never seemed exasperated by my never-ending questions. By the end of planning phase, we felt so comfortable with Wendy that absolutely none of my bridezilla behavior was directed at food or drinks. And boy did she deliver. The food was amazing, the bar was well-stocked--complete with my favorite obscure microbrew, added to the menu at my request--and Wendy and her crew were unbelievable. I'll never get married again, but I'm tempted to throw another party just for the food!
