Rev. Alberta Eaton

For our first meeting, she came to us. She had some great ideas. She gives you a book to put together your ceremony the way you want it. Then she makes suggestions. Any changes that I made at the last minute, she was fine with. I really felt like we wrote our ceremony. We had good wishes stones that our guests held during the ceremony. We also had a ribbon ceremony. Different colored ribbons are draped over the couple's entwined hands and then tied together. Each ribbon color represents a wish for the marriage like passion or inspiration. We had 13 ribbons total. Then the ribbons are slipped off of the couple's hands and they become a keepsake. This is where the saying "tying the knot" came from. This is something they did centuries ago in Ireland and Scotland. Everyone loved it because it was so unique. My Maid of Honor couldn't attend the rehearsal so she talked to her the day of the wedding. We rehearsed until everyone was comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a nicer officiant. She projected her voice really well so everyone could hear her. She was very helpful when it was time to light the unity candle. She helped us to get to the back of the table and then helped us to light the candle by saying that we needed to lower the lighter. I had a small coughing spell before I had to repeat my vows. She waited until I was ready to speak. We really felt like we were in good hands.

Fabulous! She exceeded our expectations at the ceremony. Prior to the event she worked with you to create the ceremony and provided idease based on her interview with the couple. At the ceremony she talked with each participant in advance to ensure that they knew how the ceremony was going to proceed. She was invaluable to the success of the ceremony.

Rev Eaton was a pleasure to work with. With her expert guidance we planned our ceremony and everything turned out perfect. The rehearsal was fun and light, as she explained how everything would flow the next day. On the wedding day we didn't miss a beat and the ceremony went flawless.

Rev Eaton was absolutely amazing when it came to being an officiant for our wedding! She was very professional as well as was really helpful when going over our ceremony! It was really nice for she provided us with a booklet that helped us create a ceremony that was unique to us!!! She was also really good and getting all of our family to cooperate during the rehearsal and ceremony!

Our experience with Rev. Eaton was that she was very professional, prompt, reasonable priced, and put us at ease. She returned my emails quickly. Our first meeting was at her home and it went really well. She had a lot of ideas about how to fill out the ceremony. This was good because we didn't know what we wanted, except that we wanted it to be non-religious, which she was respectful about. The materials she provided for us were a great starting point for crafting our ceremony. At the rehearsal, she was very professional and had a take charge attitude, so there was no question about what everyone needed to do for the ceremony. Also, she provided us with a copy of ceremony, which is a nice keepsake.

Ratings and reviews always make me a bit suspicious. When I see someone has rated anything the highest possible value in all categories I am quick to dismiss it. I am giving you this disclaimer so that you understand I truly mean that Alberta is a 5 out of 5. She was nothing but warm, honest and reliable. I am not what most would call a religious man. Picking an officiant was not something I really looked into. I let my fiance have at it, I would have agreed to almost anyone. When she told me we had to meet with her first, I was a bit annoyed. When I heard what the charge was, my response was that of most men...I gotta get into the officiant business. The reality is....Rev. Eaton MADE our wedding what is was. Meeting with her at her home was a pleasure. A conversation that was in reality not a necessity but made us both extremely comfortable with her. In retrospect it would have been really awkward to just show up and have some totally random person performing our ceremony. The conversation was a great introduction and allowed her to tailor the service to us. As for getting into the officiant game...its not for me...and its not for most, but Rev Eaton is a PRO. Its her calling!! We had a "coordinator" from our catering company, who by the way I would NOT recommend. I thought this "coordinator"would handle the "here, there, not yet, go ahead, this is next, put that down". Well she didnt! She was not worth the extra hourly charge we had to pay her. Alberta, on the other hand SAVED THE DAY. When guests were walking through pictures she jumped into action and directed them like the best traffic cop you have ever seen. She made my bride at ease and reminded her that this was her day and if she didnt like what was happening to change it. She went as far as coordinating with the photographer on behalf of my bride so that she could get out of the way. She picked up the train and helped her out of sight. Truly above and beyond. My point...REV Eaton is there for you in every way that she can. You can rely on her. She's doesnt show up 10 mins before the ceremony and load up on hours 'devours. She is there to help and to be a part of your day. From coordinating her attire to the wedding colors to playing traffic cop she is a professional. There were no hidden charges, no additional fees, just a new friend guiding us into marriage. Most importantly she is a wonderful person that I am glad to say was a part of our wedding day. I could not imagine it any other way.

After one inital "get to know you" session we were able to edit the ceremony via email. VERY CONVENIENT!!!! It was exactly as we wanted it and she was so easy to work with!

Rev. Eaton officiated our wedding in October and we couldn't be happier with her services, friendly disposition, and welcomeness. Neither my husband nor I are religious, and Rev. Eaton didn't make us apologize or feel ashamed because of this. She worked with us to suggest vows, and was very open to any ideas/suggestions that we wanted to make our ceremony unique. Before our actual wedding day, she welcomed us into her home not once, but twice, to go over details, review the vows, and ask any questions that we may have had. We would highly recommend Rev. Eaton to anyone needing officiant services. She's a knowledgeable, kind and honest person who truly seems to care about the engaged couples coming to her.

Rev. Eaton did such a wonderful job. Due to delayed start for our wedding because my mom and bridesmaids were late getting to my house, she still made sure everything went the way it was planned. She came out and reminded us of who walks when then she even whispered to us during the ceremony to help us along the way. We were so thankful for that! We did have to modify the ceremony at the last minute because of the delay but no one knew the difference which was great for us! In the end, we still had what we wanted..a fabulous, heartfelt wedding ceremony thanks to Rev. Alberta Eaton. Thanks for putting up with Mr. and Mrs. Jackson lol I highly recommend Rev. Alberta Eaton!!

Rev. Alberta was wonderful as our officiant. Knowing that we would be having an interfaith marriage, I was concerned about finding an officiant that would accomplish what we were looking for. After reading wonderful reviews about Rev. Eaton on Wedding Wire, we decided to meet with her. She was extremely thorough and presented us with numerous options. She put together a meaningful ceremony that very much reflected our personalties, beliefs, and views on marriage. She provided us with a draft and revisions in a timely manner and because we were doing our rehearsal on our own, she even helped provide us with some guidance to help it go smoothly. She delivered a wonderful ceremony for us. I never would have guessed it, but we actually had guests come up to us afterwards and comment on how beautiful our ceremony was and that there were parts they wished they had incorporated into their own weddings. Words can not explain how wonderful Rev. Alberta Eaton is! She created our ceremony exactly how we wanted it, incorporating two different religions.
