I had originally booked DM dee jays for our wedding. The Thursday before our wedding (Saturday) they called us saying our dj had an emergency and couldn't do our wedding but DJ Nick Burkes was going to do it. What a DISASTER!!!!! Walking out of the ceremony, he did not play the song I requested. Then the song started skipping and he stopped it and turned out a rap song for my bridal party and guests to walk out to! Then, the workers told him to stall because we were not ready to be announced in yet. He didn't stall and I was announced in(to the wrong song) and had to dance to my first song with my dress not bustled. This was a little hard since my husband kept stepping on it. I requested my bridal party NOT join us on the dance floor, well what do ya know, he announces half way through the song for the bridal party to join us. He played all older songs and when I asked him to play newer dance songs he said "well if you would have provided me with a list of songs I would have known what to play. I only knew about your wedding 2 days ago." Talk about rude!! A couple of my husbands friends were on the dance floor goofing off to "save a horse ride a cowboy" and as my sister was up there requesting a song he said "this is getting out of hand, I need to play a slow song" Well who is he to judge if it was getting out of hand?? I had a slideshow that we payed $200 extra for to play continuously. Everytime I went to the bar area where it was being shown it was not playing! I had to press play myself. On our last dance, I wanted everyone to dance to it. He made the guests get in a circle around us and hold hands...awkward! When I wrote to the DJ he said it was total BS and that I was exaggerating. Well thats really professional. DO NOT HIRE NICK BURKES for a dj!!

My husband and I were thrilled at the outstanding job Nick did at our wedding. I was very specific about everything that we wanted for our wedding day and he followed my instructions to a T. We feel so fortunate that we found him and I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a DJ. Thank you Nick!

Nick was just WONDERFUL!! He really helped make our wedding even more of a celebration! He was just great to work with!! He's so easy get along with and SO flexible!!! If I ever need a DJ again, I'd hire him in a New York second!! I'd also recommend him to anyone!
