Muriel was amazing at our wedding. Our pictures turned out beautifully. She and her shooting partner were very unobtrusive, meaning the only time I knew they were taking pictures were for the formal settings. The only thing I regret is not taking more formal pictures - but it was freezing outside! I highly recommend Muriel for your wedding ... you will not be disappointed!

We absolutely loved the photos Muriel took of our wedding. They came out beautifully, and friends and family were very impressed with out how good they were. We were looking for a photographer with a photojournalist style, and she captured some really wonderful moments of our family and guests enjoying themselves and celebrating, which is exactly how we wanted to record our day. Muriel was easy to work with, and responsive to emails. The day of, both Muriel and her assistant were professional and unobtrusive. Would highly recommend.

Muriel did an amazing job! We still can't believe what high quality absolutely beautiful pictures we received - and at a very reasonable cost. She was even willing to travel 6 hours away to our West Virginia wedding location. Another thing Muriel did that was a big hit with our wedding guests was set up a laptop with a preview of the pictures that guests could look at near the end of the reception. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Muriel Silva was absolutley wonderful to work with! She met with my husband and I prior to our wedding day to get to know us and discuss our vision of the day. She was always conscious of my level of anxiousness throughout the day and was able to keep me grounded with her calming presence. She and her assistant were extremely professional throughout the entire day. It was so great to receive all of our pictures on disc to enjoy and relive the day for years to come! I would reccommend Muriel for any event! Being a photojournalist, she is able to not only take beautiful pictures but also create the story behind them!

Muriel worked with us, long-distance, for several months in planning for the wedding. She was extremely helpful giving us advice about what photos were best, especially with the little time we had for formal pictures. She performed beautifully and the photos were excellent. I would certainly recommend her.

Muriel had stepped up to do our wedding after our first photographer cancelled due to personal health issues and recommended Muriel to take on our contract. She was very flexible with our weekend event, which was a birthday dinner on Saturday and our wedding on Sunday. It was an alternative wedding involved our friends and family members volunteering and participating in all aspects of the event; Muriel captured the energy of our community based wedding and even had fun herself. The pictures were wonderful and we gladly recommended her to our friends, who will be working with her for their wedding.

Muriel's photographs are beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. I have -literally- hundreds of photographs that I absolutely love.

Beautiful photography, captured all the emotion of the day... many very creative photos along with traditional poses. Muriel is such a lovely person to work with. She is so professional on the day of the wedding, you barely are aware that she is there! Even the traditional poses ended up being done with all our guests around us, so we never had to leave them. The engagement shoot (that was included in the package) gave my daughter the opportunity to see Muriel's work and to let her know some of her preferences. For example, she prefers they way she looks when photographed from a front, rather than in profile... so Muriel made sure to do many photos that showed the bride in the best possible light... literally! Excellent value! We ended up with well over 300 wedding photos and about 40 engagement photos on different CDs. Muriel gave us permission to reprint whatever we like. She will make professional albums in the future if we would like to order them, but I may do this myself for Christmas gifts this year to save money. There was no pressure at all. She even gave me information on professional websites that I can use to print higher quality prints if I decide to do this myself.

Muriel is a very talented photographer and impressed many of our guests and family with her professionalism, efficiency and creativity. Not only were her shots beautiful, but she set up a computer slideshow at the reception of the shots taken thus far and people went wild. : ) I was quite nervous about a lot of the picture taking - especially the getting ready shots - but Muriel was a real calming presence, keeping me on track, suggesting make-up details (I did my own) and just in general being there to capture the moment, but not dictate it. I would definitely recommend Muriel to other brides and I am excited to see how in demand she has become. : )
