I had Maria and Heather (Baker) for my wedding day and they were AMAZING!!! Maria got my hair style that I wanted better than I could imagined and Heather got my makeup to look still like me but a little more glamorous for my wedding day! They were the sweetest ladies and I felt completely comfortable, they even did hair and makeup for some of my bridal party and they were happy and all looked beautiful!!! They were on time with the schedule and that is important on the wedding day, they made sure I was ready in enough time to get some pictures with my photographer. Maria even stayed to touch up my hair after getting my dress on, she didn't leave until we all left from the hotel room to head to the venue. I would rcommend this company to any bride, you won't be disappointed!!!! I looked absolutely beautiful on the most special day of my life, thanks Heather and Maria!

Behind the Veil are AWESOME! I would highly recommend them. I meet Angela at my food tasting where there were many vendors at the venue. I do not live in Maryland anymore and my time is very limited every time I come back to Maryland. During my food tasting, Angela said she would squeeze me in for a trial run and they were able to do both hair and make-up. I thought that was very nice of Angela since this was very last minute. Several of my family members had their hair and make-up done by them as well. All throughout the day, myself and my family members were receiving many compliments of how great we all looked. It was extremely windy on my wedding day and after spending about 45 minutes outside taking pictures, my hair still stayed in place. Everyone at Behind the Veil is nice and friendly!

I used Behind the Veil for my wedding hair and makeup and could not have been happier! Heather and Melanie were so talented and made me feel so relaxed and beautiful on my big day! Angela was wonderful and very responsive via email. I recommend these ladies to any future bride!

Behind The Veil, LLC was Absolutely fantastic through every phase of my daughter's wedding! I highly recommend them and can not say enough great things about my overall experience. I worked closely with Angela, Maria and Melanie. I made arrangements for the entire bridal party as my daughter (the bride) lives in FL and was in flight training during most of the wedding planning. The Behind the Veil staff was extremelly flexible and helpful through each phase of planning. In the end, Maria and Melanie made all 6 of us beautiful with both hair and make-up. They stayed with us until the photographer arrived and even provided some unexpected make-up services for a few people! They were AWESOME!!!!! Thanks again to Maria, Melanie and Angela for making this daily truly special and memorable.

Behind the Veil was simply fabulous! I don't wear much makeup in everyday life, so I was very concerned about looking overly made up for the wedding. I couldn't have been happier with the way my hair and makeup turned out. I never felt more beautiful and I have Maria and Nichole to thank for that. There was a small "hiccup" in the scheduling (they wanted to move my appointment up by 3 hours, which would have interfered with other plans). In the end, they went out of their way to accommodate me. Even with this issue, I'd still highly recommend them. Just be sure and nail your appointment time down ahead of time.

I have had my hair done a number of times in Easton, MD, and after several nightmare-ish haircuts, I decided I needed to have someone from the other side of the bay come and do our at the hotel where we had our wedding. Luckily, my wonderful hairdresser recommended Behind the Veil and I am more than pleased with the results! I had the trial and day of do's done by Maria, who was wonderful! She was flexible in setting up times that worked for me for the trial, and she managed to do a great job doing 6 girls' hair on the day of the wedding. It was so nice not having to stress about driving at least 40 minutes the day of the event to get our hair done! Maria arrived around noon and got to work right away making us look gorgeous. My hair in particular turned out more beautifully than I could have imagined. I asked for a romantic side do with a flower (which I provided) and it turned out beyond lovely! I got so many compliments on it. She also did an amazing job on my bridesmaids and the flower girls. Thanks Maria! Maria and Angela (the owner, I think) were very timely and communicative leading up to the wedding. They responded promptly to my emails/phonecalls and kept me up to date on everything. Their prices are very reasonable and the results were amazing. I highly recommend Maria and Behind the Veil to anyone getting married and looking to wow their guests.

Behind the Veil was amazing to work with! Angela was a dream in terms of communication and scheduling. Heather did my hair, which was incredible! She was amazing to work wtih. Melanie did my makeup, unbelieveably beautiful. And she was great too! I would recommend Behind the Veil to anyone! And, make sure to ask for Heather and Melanie!

Behind the veil did the make-up and hair for the bride and bridesmaids at our wedding. Their work was absolutely gorgeous. The entire bridal party looked amazing, and all of our guests kept commenting on how wonderful they looked. Not only did they do great work, but they were very professional and even beat the bride to the venue so they were very prompt. I highly recommend Behind the veil for your beauty needs on your special day.

These girls were AWESOME to work with. Angela was so responsive to all my concerns, while Heather (hair) and Melanie (makeup) we so sweet and professional. They made us all feel special on my wedding day, not to mention we all looked FANTASTIC. I highly recommend them.

Planning our Renewal of Vows was one of the most stressful things I've ever done. Working with Angela of Behind the Veil Artistry, however, was anything but! Because of budget restrictions we didn't know whether we should splurge on a professional make up artist...it was only a few days before the ceremony that we decided to 'go for it'. Thankfully, Behind the Veil pulled through and Angela was there right on time. She did an excellent job on my make up the first time, without a trial. We also had my mother's make up for the ceremony and I know for a fact that she has never felt as beautiful as she did that evening. Angela's calmness and confidence was so comforting. Honestly, a great investment...I would recommend Behind the Veil to any of my friends, without hesitation!

Heather did my hair for my hair trial, and I immediately knew I wanted  to book her for my wedding. I needed a very vintage forties hairstyle, and Heather jumped right in! She did a wonderful job. Heather was professional, but personable. She was easy to talk to and listned to all of my questions and ideas. The final product was stunning, and compliments my overall wedding day look.  I cannot wait for Heather to beautify my bridesmaids and me on my BIG DAY!!! Thank you, Heather!

This is the most Amazing group of ladies you will meet! They are very professional and always on time. By the end of your wedding they will feel like family to you. I have recommended them to multiple people and everyone has loved them!!!

Angela and Maria are absolute delights. I did a trial with them and I have never felt prettier in my life. At my wedding, I felt like a princess and still looked like one even after the party ended. Angela did my makeup and Maria did my hair. I opted for air brushing and am very happy I did. My face stayed on for the whole day even through almost crying, dancing and an entire day of festivities. For my hair, I opted to have it up. My hair stayed in place through the whole event and even after. I've had my hair and makeup done before, but I didn't look even half as good as I did on my wedding. I highly recommend them if you want to be a picture perfect princess on your wedding day.

This was the perfect choice for hair and makeup for me and my wedding party (which was my mom and sisters). Angela and Maria are talented, knowledgeable, timely, organized, helpful, and professional. Aside from all those qualities that you want in someone you hire, I had Angela and Maria in my hotel room with me for nearly the entire day and we had a BLAST! It was like a girls' day and they fit right in, I seriously enjoyed our time together and wish I could get married all the time to have more fun times like that. I might have gone crazy cooped up in the hotel all day but Angela and Maria worked calmly and shared all their expertise, wisdom, and humor. My thank you email to Angela was also a request for info about the salon where Maria works on other days so I can have her as my personal stylist. Also, my sisters and I don't usually wear makeup and Angela gave us a lot of education and made all of us look natural and beautiful. It was a MAJOR success! Thanks ladies :)
