The Tremont Grand is the PERFECT place to have your dream wedding. This place is very elegant and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have my wedding. We were very pleased with Amy Lindsey as our Wedding Coordinator. She is Extremely sweet and so easy to work with. I also appreciate all her hard work to help make the day everything and more. The other staff that were included in the wedding preparation were amazing. Every person who was involved at this place were fantastic!! I definitely suggest this place as the best wedding choice. Thank you Tremont Grand and Hotel. xoxo.

My husband and I were married October 14th 2011 at the Tremont Grand Historic Venue. Lauren Flaig was our coordinator and she did a fantastic job. She told me from the beginning that she would make sure my wedding ran smoothing and I could enjoy myself. Lauren over exceeded my expectations!!! Lauren and her staff did an AMAZING job, I honestly have nothing negative to say. My husband and I really enjoyed our day. Our guest were blown away by the service they received and the attentiveness of the staff.I would absolutely recommended this venue to any and everyone.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. My wedding was fabulous! My coordinator Amy was absolutely amazing. we had a dream wedding for a reasonable cost. My guests were awed by how nice the venue space was, how good the food was, how everything flowed, and how nice the actual hotel accommodations were. If I could do it again and make this choice in venue again I would.

There is not a single negative thing my husband nor I could ever say about our wedding at the Tremont Grand. It was truly perfection from start to finish. We had a very long engagement and the venue was the first thing we booked, since our wedding was over Labor Day weekend. We went to about 8 venues in Baltimore, before looking at the Tremont. We liked some of the other places, but the minute we walked into the Tremont, we knew our wedding had to be there. The first person we met at the Tremont was Delia Wilson. Her first motto is that she doesn't shake hands, she only gives hugs. Immediately, I loved her.Delia was extremely sweet and helpful, and we knew in working with her, we would get everything we wanted for our special day... and we did. After signing the contract, we met Lauren Flaig, our wedding coordinator. Lauren is one of the most kind, caring, and loving people I know... and to top it off, she's tough! She will make your day perfect, no matter what it takes. Whether it's getting a specific type of wine for your guests, making your dance floor fit, safety-pinning your dress up because your bustle won't work, etc. etc. etc. What I miss most about wedding planning would probably have to be talking/emailing with Lauren daily... she became way more than a wedding coordinator, she became a friend.Looking back on the past year and half of planning our wedding, I realize that the times I felt stressed or worried that something would go wrong, Lauren was there to calm me down and re-assure me that everything would be perfect... and it was.The staff at the Tremont are the most warm and friendly group of people. From the valet guys and hotel attendants to the waiters and bartenders, they were so attentive to my guests' needs and truly made the wedding go off without a hitch. The food was INCREDIBLE... it all tasted exactly as it did the night of our tasting, which is rare considering they were cooking for 200 people and not the 6 at the tasting! The guests rooms were amazing and very spacious, our guests couldn't stop raving about them. And, our wedding suite was insane!! My 10 bridesmaids, mom, and grandmas all got ready in our suite and it was big enough to fit another 10 people! It was incredible! If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. It was perfection, thanks to the Tremont Grand.

I felt from the first time that I saw this venue with my husband that this was the place. It was beautiful and the fact that we had so many people coming from out of town having the hotel for people to stay at was an added bonus. We had a coordinator switch from Brandon to Amy four weeks before our wedding but I have to say even though I was nervous because I loved Brandon Amy was supurb. I couldn\'t have asked for better service. Everyone at the tremont grand was so nice and helpful at all times. Everything went great. I will say that it went by fast and a lot of it was a blur because I couldn\'t believe it was happening and that everything looked so beautiful after all that planning. I will go back to the tremont for our anniversary and stay for a few nights again just in hopes to relive just a little bit of how special that day was for the both of us. We had a blast with all of our friends and family and without the tremont I can\'t imagine doing it any other way. The pictures are worth a thousand words as they came out so nice with all the marble. This truly is a beautiful one of a kind historic building. All of our guest couldn\'t believe how nice it all was, many said they have never been to a nicer wedding and the cake which came from the tremont was the best cake they\'ve had. I must say it was the best. Thanks to all at the tremont and they are wonderful to work with.

We had our reception at the Tremont with the cocktail hour in the Mirror Room and the dinner/dancing in the Edinburgh Hall. It was amazing!! The atmosphere was perfect, the food was even better then at the tasting and the service was excellent. Our coordinator, Brandon Casey, was the best!! We are so glad we chose the Tremont!!

We chose the Tremont Grand because the majority of our guests were coming from out of town, and we loved the convenience of the attached Tremont Suites Hotel as well as the proximity to the downtown area. (Though I will say here that I would not recommend the Hotel - we had HUGE problems on that side...including a raging party that had to be broken up by police. Unfortunately, the Hotel side drags the Grand side down...and I hope one day the Hotel matches the elegance and grandeur of the Grand). Noneless, this is about the Grand which we loved for the historic, unique, and beautiful rooms.Overall, we were VERY PLEASED with how our wedding reception unfolded. The guests unanimously said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to - which made us very happy given all the hard work we put into every detail. :-) We had our cocktail hour in The Mirror Room, and our reception in The Edinburgh Room which looked gorgeous with the amber up-lighting and our candle-lit centerpieces. The food was delicious, and our elaborate cocktail hour was a highlight for our guests (the crab claws and the petite lamb chops were the fav). People are still raving about our wedding at Tremont - it was elegant, memorable, and certainly not your standard cookie-cutting reception hall.Lauren Flaig was our Event Manager, and she is superb! We LOVED working with Lauren, and she made the entire process pretty seamless from start to finish. She always responded to my emails right away, was straightforward and upfront, extremely well organized, and very accommodating to our schedule for meeting times. She is a treasure; our experience with Tremont would not have been the same without Lauren.Conversely, we feel duty-bound to address some things that could have been improved, if for no other reason than the benefit of future married-couples-to-be that choose the Tremont as their venue. * NO PORTOBELLO: I learned from our guests that they were not served their portobello mushroom entrees, but were served lasagna instead. This was embarrassing, as this option was 1 of 3 on my RSVP card. Some people who were not necessarily vegetarians chose the portobello because they love portobello. If the option was lasagna, they probably would have selected something else. I wish we would have been consulted about this change. * LATE DINNER SERVICE: Because there seemed to be a mix up with the entrees, not all people at the same table were served at the same time. As a result, some people let their food go cold while they waited out of courtesy until all guests at their table were served. * GIFT TABLE: Instead of putting the gift table outside, I would have put it next to us or by the cake. Some people felt uncomfortable leaving their envelopes unattended outside of the reception room, and some people didn't even see the box outside before they entered. * SHRIMP AND CHOPS: Since we didn't pay attention to the cocktail hour at all, we can only go by what we heard from guests. So, from that... a) I understand the shrimp and crab claws bar immediately ran out and was not replenished. This was especially disappointing to hear, especially since this was an extra add-on to our already expensive package. b) This seemed to be the same case with the petite lamb chops - it would run out, and people were waiting around until they replenished the dish to try one.

We had our wedding here and it was perfection!! The rooms are amazing!! The service was excellent! The food was very good for a large wedding of 130 people. We didn't get to go to cocktail hour but heard from our guests that it was awesome. For dinner we had a choice of sea bass or filet. The filet's were a little overcooked but really they always are at most weddings I've been to. That's why I had the sea bass and it was cooked perfectly! I highly recommend Brandon, he was our wedding coordinator and kept everything running so smoothly I wasn't stressed at all. If you are looking for a wedding venue wait till you see this place. it's gorgeous! I had to post-pone my wedding a year just to have my wedding here and it was so worth it!

I love the Tremont Grand! They have weddings and the coordination down to a science. Half of the comments from the guests stemmed from the majestic feel of the historic Tremont Grand. Since my wedding theme was sophisticated simple elegance, this venue was perfect. My wedding coordinator was Brandon. He was amazing. He answered every question I had and was very flexible in providing me what I wanted. The food was also surprisingly good. I picked the venue because of the location and decor. The food was an unexpected bonus. You do not get to taste the food before signing the contract. Brandon made sure that everything ran on time. My guests are still raving about the ceremony and reception. With a December wedding, I think the guests appreciated not having to travel to a reception site after the wedding. Also, there was no lag time between the ceremony, coctail reception, and the sit down dinner. This made the flow appear seamless.

Tremont was the best choice for our wedding venue. The location, architecture of each room, and the foods were amazing. It was truly a dream wedding. The staff is very sweet and they are there to serve you and your guests. We held our entire wedding at the Tremont. The transition from room to room was seamless and my guests truly had a good time. I worked with Brandon - he was super tentative and had genuine concern in making sure out event was what we wanted. I highly recommend!!

I waited to write this review because it is the most important one that I have to write. I am extremely discriminating and particular when it comes to being a hostess and no other venue would do for my guests....it had to be the Tremont Grand. Five floors full of rooms with their own personality? I dare you to find better! I'd like to thank Suzzane Curtian for the fabulous initial tour and working with my husband and I on creating a contract that would fit who we were. I'd like to thank Melva Cooke for always being pleasant and making sure my guests got the best hotel rates at the Tremont Plaza. I'd like to thank Mrs. Kina for holding me down the evening of the wedding. She is loveable and sincere and it will not be forgotten.I must give Mrs. Lauren Flaig her own paragraph! Thank you, you're marvelous, and what would I have done without you just don't cut it. Lauren exceeds the expectations of her managers I'm sure and she damn well exceeded mine. Every detail was handled with care. Lauren is organized, funny, firm in a very loving way and I thank God for her. I truly can't tell you what she means to me without bursting into tears (ladies I don't cry often). Her kindness and patience will definitely not be forgotten. In short, the food and service was excellent. My guests raved about everything, the decor, the drinks, the food, the ambiance...you name it they loved it! Thank you to the servers, chef(s), bartenders, attendants and maintenance staff for making my wedding wonderful and so memorable. You are simply the best!!!

I am a native New Yorker and my wife was born and raised in Baltimore.. so naturally our wedding was to be held in charm city! Needless to say I've been spoiled as to the wedding venues I've attended from the cocktail hour to completion and have attended upwards of 30 weddings in the past 2 years... when we looked at venues my father in-law had fallen in love with one of the hotels in the downtown area, other than the Tremont. We looked at every venue from Pikesville to downtown and the Tremont Grand was the last of the places we saw. With most of my family and our friends being out of town guests it was important that we found a comfortable hotel at a good rate without sacrificing luxury.. When we walked the halls of the once Masonic Temple, Tremont Grand and Plaza, we knew immediately that this was the place we wanted to get married. So much so that my fiancee at the time asked the woman showing us the venue (Danielle) if we were to put a deposit down today can that help!? While, her parents and I thought she was nuts, it seems as though she knew exactly what she was doing.. We got married on 10/9 but placed the reservation for the hall around Jan/Feb time frame. Our wedding coordinator Brandon Casey reached out to us almost immediately and made everything easy from the start. He worked tirelessly to get us enough rooms and the packages we needed. He was more than responsive when even I, the groom (who if you know anything about planning a wedding means nothing) would call him. When we went to town for the tasting I brought my parents along and they had a small issue with the particular room they were in, mainly the size of the bed. Brandon spoke to the front desk and made arrangements for them to stay in a 2 bdrm suite.. he did the same the weekend of the wedding. When the big weekend finally came Brandon was on top of things all weekend. Calling my wife and I to make sure all our plans were set and even that day he called my room to make sure I was ok, calm and ready for anything. He worked with the bridal party to make sure everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to do.. from a run through of walking down the aisle to the pictures and the ketubah signing.. While my wife and I were running around that night making sure everyone was having fun, Brandon was making sure we were. The food was better than the tasting, and being a meat and potatos guy, I've eaten in some of the best steakhouses in NY, Chicago and others.. the filet at the Tremont is a legit piece of meat and was worth every bite.. as was the Chilean Sea bass..The staff at the hotel from the Doormen to the front desk clerks had everything on point and perfect. There were staff that were serving at the wedding and cleaning up until all hours of the morning and then back to work the next morning at the brunch and valet services (Tim) with the same warm, inviting smile and attitude. They are professional, knowledgeable and one of the best service staff I've had the pleasure of being around. They were the glue that kept our wedding together and the behind the scenes crew that put it all together to make this the most amazing weekend of our lives. Without Brandon Casey and the staff at the Tremont, Im not sure it would have been the same.. so a huge thank you to all of you. Anyone who is looking for a wedding venue in Baltimore, would be doing themselves and their guests a disservice by having it anywhere other than the Tremont Grand.

The Tremont is the most elegant venue for brides who cannot be bogged down in details. It's a one-stop shop with the personal attentiveness to detail that you will appreciate with limited time. Having a beautiful separate site for the cocktail hour included in the cost is great. The serivce was VERY professional. Our sit down dinner was beyond elegant and the food was personalized. There was no nit picking. I and my mom (hard to please) were thrilled with our whole night.

The Tremont Grand was the first venue my fiance and I looked at and we were sold immediately. From our first phone call to our final check out the Tremont Grand made the entire planning process a true pleasure. Lauren Flaig and the entire event staff are the definition of professionals. Lauren was incredibly responsive, answered all of our questions, had wonderful ideas and suggestions, worked easily with all personalities involved, and brought her "A" game from start to finish. If the beautiful venue were doesn't sell itself, the staff certainly will! Our wedding weekend was more than we ever imagined and we have Lauren and the Tremont Event Staff to thank for it! All of our guests stayed at the Tremont Plaza and they raved about the spacious rooms, easy access to the inner harbor, and helpfulness of the staff. I would reccommend the Tremont Grand to any and every Bride I know hands down! THANK YOU to the TREMONT GRAND for the most amazing day of our lives.Sincerely,Amanda(The Happiest Bride Ever!!)

From the moment when my now husband, parents and I met with Delia Wilson back in September '09, I knew we were going to have our wedding at the Tremont. My dad and my then-fiance, who aren't necessarily men of many words, left the meeting and just could not stop saying how we were never going to find anything better... My mom and I loved it so much, and I really pushed for the splurge I'll admit, but my mom would probably also admit that after looking at the Tremont, no other venue would have been good enough for her only daughter's wedding. We weren't even sure if we wanted to look at the Tremont at first, it was recommended to us by my cousin (who was my matron of honor) and my aunt. Honestly, the pictures online do NOT do it justice and we weren't sure if we should take the time to look... you have to go see it for yourself! We are from Bel Air, MD but were having the ceremony at my alma mater, the College of Notre Dame. We wanted a reception venue in the city so our guests wouldn't have to drive too far for a Friday night wedding. After Delia sealed the deal with us, Lauren Flaig and Delia were so accommodating in helping us plan within our budget, but still have an amazing wedding. My mom was a little bit of a momzilla and I know I myself had a lot of questions and requests. Lauren was so patient and professional with us, and like the other post commented, she really brought her "A-game" to every meeting... the big day was no exception. She was attentive to every detail from start to finish in the planning process, and was available to us upon our check-in to the hotel wedding weekend on Thursday afternoon. She was also there all day on our wedding day (Friday), and even helped me get into my wedding dress- she is just truly awesome. I miss our weekly e-mails! Lauren pretty much became my friend throughout the planning. The staff was so attentive to every guest, and my quiet dad who truly enjoyed his title of Father of the Bride could not stop raving about them. I cannot remember her name, I think it was Connie (?), but she was the main attendant to my husband and myself and to my parents... she even brought up the extra Welcome Bags with Natty Boh beers in them and put the beers in the refrigerator for my dad during the after party in my parents' suite! They only "snafu" was that the valet was a little slow the day of the wedding and a few very important guests were late to the ceremony (which was running late anyways)... but the staff was very apologetic about that. On the whole, they greeted us kindly the entire weekend and always knew who we were. We always felt like VIPs. In my opinion, the staff was nothing short of stellar. Speaking of the suites, they are awesome. We had 3 Chairman Suites- 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with a full living room/dining room/kitchen; one for the bride/bridesmaids, one for the groom/groomsmen, and one for my parents. I had 8 bridesmaids spend the night in the suite the night before the wedding, and it was so fun! We all got ready there the next day, and it was a blast, we had plenty of room. And it was so convenient to be able to go right up to our room (well, to the after party at least!) after the reception was over. The guests loved it! I feel like I'm rambling now, so I won't take up any more space. I think you can tell we loved and had a fabulous experience with the Tremont. Thank you, Tremont Grand, from a very happy bride... an awesome wedding all in all.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Tremont and just loved it. We received SO many compliments from guests on everything. My friends said our wedding had the best food start to finish out of all of our weddings. There were a couple of small problems with service at the reception, but they were relatively minor in the grand scheme of things. The dinner service was a little slow (we had to ask for the main course for my husband's dad b/c he didn't get one) and our attendant opened all the bottles of our very nice champagne at once and was getting it all mixed up (we had some special bottles for bride & groom). We had such an amazing time though that these things really didn't end up mattering much.Brandon was our coordinator and he was exceptional. He was very professional and was on top of everything. I can't say enough good things about him. He even ran to my mom's hotel room right before the ceremony when we realized we left the binder with the readings there.Overall everything was gorgeous and tasty and we keep getting compliments from our guests about how nice everything was.

The Tremont was the first place I visited when looking for a venue for our wedding reception. We fell in love instantly and I couldn't find any other place in Baltimore that even compared to it. Danielle gave us the initial tour- she was personable, knowledgeable, and we had so much fun with her! My mother and future mother-in-law were so impressed with everything the Tremont had to offer- the catering, planning, all of the beautiful rooms to choose from-- they even ended up baking our cake. I was worried about budget but Danielle helped us devise a package that met all of our needs. Our wedding was Memorial Day Weekend so we were concerned about travel for our guests--luckily, the hotel rooms were spacious, updated, and a very affordable price. 75% of our guests were coming from out of town and the Tremont accomodated all of them. Our room rates were unbelievable compared to other hotels in Baltimore city that weekend. After the initial planning, Lauren Flaig took over as our planner and she was exceptional. She was very professional, responsive, and she paid great attention to detail. We had a great time at all of our meetings and tastings- she was very easy to work with and definitely made us feel relaxed about everything. We had some last minute guest list issues and they were resolved with ease. Our wedding weekend ran smoothly and successfully. On Friday the Tremont gave our guests shuttle service to the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and then to the post-rehearsal party- it was above and beyond what I had expected. On Saturday I was able to focus on my preparation for the wedding and enjoying time with my family because I knew Lauren had control of everything for the cocktail hour and reception later that day. And she definitely exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms were decorated perfectly and things progressed according to our timeline, leaving us plenty of time on the dancefloor at the end of the night. Our service was attentive and timely, especially Zena, our assigned attendant-- she was always there to meet our every need- she placed napkins on our laps before eating and delivered us cocktails before we even had to ask. We felt like royalty. On Sunday morning, our farewell brunch was also done to perfection. Our guests were so impressed by the presentation and taste of the brunch, as well as the decor (our centerpieces were transferred to the room and there were framed family photos on all the tables for conversation). It was a great way to thank our guests for coming and say one last good-bye.Overall, my husband and I, as well as our guests, were extremely impressed by the Tremont's excellent service and professionalism, as well as their exceptional catering and elegant atmoshere-- our whole wedding experience was first class and flawless. We had the wedding of our dreams and we are so happy that we chose the Tremont. We highly recommend their services for any celebration!

Wow! What a fantastic venue. I fell in love with it when I first saw it and there was no turning back. If you want an elegant, but original and historic looking venue downtown Baltimore, with 5 star catering in house, PLUS hotel capacity, this is it. similar looking venues in Baltimore will charge room rental fees, but Tremont grand does not. Fine linens and beautiful china are already included. No add ons needed. You can work with the banquet chef to customize a menu that fits your budget. They are worth every penny. This venue is still a bit unknown since it was only restored a few years ago. So beautiful! Their staff works with you to plan the event and provide a day of coordinator. We had 200 guests at our April 2010 wedding who all raved about the food, the venue, hotel rooms etc. Brandon was my coordinator and he did a fantastic job with every single detail. On our wedding day, we just took it all in and had a great time. We didnt worry about a thing and it all went off without a hitch. Amazing, amazing venue with so many options for ceremony, and reception because of the different ballroom options. What a gem!
